In this peer review, I reviewed the 3rd essay, which was how narrative affects us. This particular essay also included multimodal aspects. My peer review strategy is to identify more global mistakes rather than local. I also make sure to keep the writing prompt in mind as I read their paper so I can point out if they are going off track or should focus in on a certain subject. One of the main things that I look for is if their thesis matches their claim sentences and vice versa. For example in this person’s essay I pointed out that most of her claim sentences need to correlate with her thesis so her audience knows exactly what she wants to talk about. By doing all of these things, I promote a better, more clear, and sound paper for my peer.
